Drawing Day 2011 Contribution

Today is World Drawing Day and there are hundreds of thousands of people putting pencil to paper, ink to book, paint to canvas, and Wacom stylus to Intuos tablet, with the goal of creating over 1 Million drawings worldwide! I thought that I would share my contribution to the project. Here it is:

I call this piece ‘Infinite Love Bot‘.

It is a simple representation of what I believe to be true about myself (Chandra would argue that it is an autobiographical cartoon… I do not entirely disagree). I believe that just like my robot friend, I too was manufactured by a creator. A creator with more imagination than is possible to fathom.

And it is out of a never-ending love that I was created. A love that says “even though I know you will fail me, time and time again, I still give my life for you each and every day.” Not only was I created, but I was created to BE creative.

And out of that love, and that creativity come something fun… something proud… and something beautiful! <3 :/
